Does the app work offline?

Yes. FieldCalc HVAC works 100% offline. All calculations and refrigerant data are stored locally. No internet connection is needed — perfect for rooftops and mechanical rooms.

How do I restore my Pro purchase?

Go to Settings → scroll to the Pro card → tap "Restore Purchase". If you previously bought Pro on the same Apple ID, it will be restored instantly at no additional cost.

Is Pro a subscription?

No. Pro is a one-time purchase of $9.99. No subscription, no recurring charges, no ads. Buy once, own forever — including all future updates.

Which refrigerants are included?

13 refrigerants: R-454B, R-32, R-410A (free), plus R-134a, R-22, R-404A, R-407C, R-448A, R-449A, R-507A, R-1234yf, R-452A, and R-513A (Pro). Each includes bubble/dew PT data, GWP, and ODP.

Where does the PT data come from?

Refrigerant pressure-temperature data is factual physical property data sourced from manufacturer publications (Honeywell, Chemours, Arkema), Hudson Technologies PT charts, and NIST Refprop.

Is this a full ACCA Manual J calculation?

No. The load estimate uses Manual J methodology in a simplified form for quick field estimates. It is not a substitute for authorized ACCA Manual J software (such as Wrightsoft or Rhvac). Always verify results against local codes and professional judgment.

How do I export a calculation?

On any calculation result screen or history detail page, tap "Export PDF" to generate a shareable PDF report. You can then save it to Files, email it, or share via any app.

Does the app collect my data?

No. FieldCalc HVAC collects zero personal data. No analytics, no tracking, no accounts. All your calculations stay on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.

iPhone and iPad running iOS 17.0 or later.
