1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Electrician Calc Pro (the "App"), you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement ("EULA"). If you do not agree, do not download or use the App. You may remove it from your device at any time.

2. Nature of the App — IMPORTANT, READ CAREFULLY

The App is a reference and calculation tool. It is NOT engineering, design, or code-compliance software, and it must not be the sole basis for any electrical installation decision.

The App performs arithmetic and lookups against published reference tables (notably the U.S. National Electrical Code®, "NEC", NFPA 70). It returns numerical results together with the formula steps and NEC article references used, so that a qualified user can independently verify each result.

The App does not:

• design electrical systems or circuits;
• inspect, certify, or approve any installation;
• determine whether any installation complies with any law, code, or regulation;
• replace the judgment of a licensed electrician, professional engineer, or the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ);
• account for conditions the user did not enter (temperature, bundling, ambient corrections, special occupancies, etc.).

3. The User Is Solely Responsible

You represent that you are a qualified, licensed professional (or acting under the direct supervision of one) and that you will:

1. Independently verify every result produced by the App before relying on it for any purpose.
2. Confirm that the NEC edition the App references matches the edition adopted and enforced by your local AHJ. The NEC is a model code; it has no legal effect until adopted locally, and local amendments may apply.
3. Apply your professional judgment regarding all site conditions, derating, ambient temperatures, and special occupancies that the App does not model.

The user bears full responsibility for any installation decision made with the assistance of the App.

4. Intellectual Property & Third-Party References

• The App, its source code, interface, and original content are the property of the Seller.
• NEC®, NFPA 70®, and the NFPA logo are registered trademarks of the National Fire Protection Association. The numerical values from NEC tables are factual data; the article text of the NEC is copyrighted by NFPA and is not reproduced in the App. The App cites article numbers and provides independent summaries only.
• The App is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by NFPA, nor by any manufacturer whose product codes appear as selectable options.

5. License Grant

Subject to this EULA, the Seller grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service.

6. In-App Purchase

The App offers a one-time "Pro" unlock ("Electrician Calc Pro", product ID qi_elec_pro, USD $9.99). Payment is processed by Apple under your App Store account. Refunds are governed by Apple's policies; the Seller cannot issue refunds directly. The Pro unlock is tied to your Apple ID and restored automatically when you reinstall on a new device.

This is a one-time, non-consumable purchase — there is no subscription, no recurring charges, and no auto-renewal.

7. Privacy

The App works fully offline. It does not require an account, does not collect personal data, and does not transmit your calculations off-device. Calculation history is stored locally on your device via SwiftData. See the in-app Privacy Policy or the online Privacy Policy for details.

8. No Warranty — "AS IS"

THE APP AND ALL RESULTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

The Seller does not warrant that the App will be error-free, that results will be accurate or complete, or that the reference data reflects the most recent edition of any code. NEC data is updated periodically and may lag state or local adoption.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE SELLER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR PROPERTY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Because electrical work can cause injury, death, fire, and property damage, you acknowledge that the risk of relying on the App rests entirely with you.

10. Limitation of Damages

THE SELLER'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THIS EULA SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP, OR (B) USD $10.00.

11. Governing Law & Dispute

This EULA is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Seller resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

12. Changes to This EULA

The Seller may update this EULA from time to time. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised EULA. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.

13. Third-Party Beneficiary

You acknowledge that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA, and that Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary.
