Your videos stay on your device.

Personal data: None. VidZip does not require an account, email, or login. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location.

Videos you select: Processed entirely on your device. The videos you pick from Photos or Files are copied to a temporary working folder, compressed locally, then deleted. They never leave your phone.

Usage data & identifiers: We do not collect analytics, crash reports, device identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), or behavioral tracking data. We do not track you across apps or websites.

Your videos are used solely to perform the compression you requested and save the result on your device. Nothing is uploaded, shared, sold, or processed elsewhere. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or analytics.

All temporary video copies and compressed outputs live on your device in the app's working folder. They are deleted automatically when you start a new session or leave the result page. You can also clear them anytime from Settings → Storage → Clear.

Compression history (video names, sizes, thumbnails) is stored locally in UserDefaults to show your recent activity and savings stats. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared anytime.

Apple StoreKit 2: Handles in-app purchases. Purchase transactions are processed by Apple; we receive only an encrypted receipt confirming your purchase — no payment card or billing details. Apple's privacy practices apply to the data they collect.

That's it. No ad networks (no AdSupport, no SKAdNetwork), no analytics SDKs, no third-party trackers, no social SDKs are integrated.

Because we collect no personal data, most privacy-law rights (access, correction, deletion, portability) are already fully satisfied — there is nothing for us to disclose or delete about you.

For data on your device, you have full control: delete compression history any time, or clear temporary files in Settings. Residents of California (CCPA) and the EU/UK (GDPR) may also contact us with any questions. We do not "sell" personal data as defined by CCPA, and we do not process data requiring consent under GDPR.

VidZip is a general-purpose utility app. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). As we collect no personal data at all, no special protections are required — but the app is not directed at children.

The App is available worldwide. Because no data leaves your device, there is no cross-border data transfer by us, and no international data-transfer concerns apply.

Your on-device data is protected by iOS's built-in data protection (Secure Enclave, file-level encryption). We do not transmit or store your data on any external system, so there is no server-side attack surface maintained by us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Effective" date above. Continued use after changes takes effect constitutes acceptance.
