Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

Personal data: None. EPA 608 Exam Prep does not require an account, email, or login. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location.

Study data: Your practice history, wrong-question book, mock exam records, and settings are stored only in the app's local database on your device. This data is technical, not personal.

Usage data & identifiers: We do not collect analytics, crash reports, device identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), or behavioral tracking data. We do not track you across apps or websites.

2. How We Use Data

Your study data is used solely to show your progress, feed the wrong-question book, and score mock exams on your screen. Nothing is uploaded, shared, sold, or processed elsewhere. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or analytics.

3. Data Storage & Retention

All study data lives in the app's local database on your device. Data is retained until you delete it (e.g., swipe to remove a wrong question, clear solved questions) or until you uninstall the app, at which point all data is permanently removed.

4. Third-Party Services

Apple StoreKit 2: Handles in-app purchases. Purchase transactions are processed by Apple; we receive only an encrypted receipt confirming your purchase — no payment card or billing details. Apple's privacy practices apply to the data they collect.

Regulation citations: Citation badges link to ecfr.gov, a U.S. government website, and open in your browser only when you tap them. That site has its own privacy practices, which we do not control.

That's it. No ad networks (no AdSupport, no SKAdNetwork), no analytics SDKs, no third-party trackers, no social SDKs are integrated.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because we collect no personal data, most privacy-law rights (access, correction, deletion, portability) are already fully satisfied — there is nothing for us to disclose or delete about you. For data on your device, you have full control: delete study history any time. Residents of California (CCPA) and the EU/UK (GDPR) may also contact us with any questions. We do not "sell" personal data as defined by CCPA.

6. Children's Privacy

EPA 608 Exam Prep is an exam-preparation tool intended for adult technicians and students. As we collect no personal data at all, no special protections are required.

7. International Users

The app is available worldwide. Because no data leaves your device, there is no cross-border data transfer by us.

8. Data Security

Your on-device data is protected by iOS's built-in data protection (Secure Enclave, file-level encryption). We do not transmit or store your data on any external system.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
